In the framework of the project Só Fachada, the artist Kruella D’Enfer was invited to do an art residency at INSTITUTO during two weeks aiming to create an ephemeral intervention on the façade at Rua dos Clérigos 44.

"Titled Nature Within, this installation is made from objects found on Afurada beach, remains from materials of local business and live plants. The concept emerged from an examination of the emptiness created by lack of inhabitation and use, which at the same time creates space for other forms of life to thrive."

In the NATURE WITHIN workshop, the artist shared her process in building the piece and carried out a related activity with the participants. The ambiance will be seasoned with food and theme music by Alínea A, with Patrícia Brito and Pedro Morais.

“Só Fachada” is a project developed by INSTITUTO and Underdogs Gallery, involving artistic residencies, workshops and the creation of an ephemeral open air-gallery.
