Expedition is an annual talk series that explores the sensibilities of specific places, embedded in close and distant contexts. The series features national and international guests in the fields of architecture, curating, landscape and urbanism. In a discursive and critical format, the group of renowned academics and professionals share their research, publications and exhibitions. The series draws inspiration from the building’s history - we were captivated by the word ‘Expedição’, which appears on the caption of the hall, in the original plans from 1955. The first series had three sessions:
